AI model details

When you upload a skin image, it is processed by a fine-tuned ResNet50 model that maps it to one of 15 supported conditions.

The model returns the predicted condition, confidence, and class probabilities, which are displayed in the app.

Training details

We fine-tuned a pre-trained ResNet50, adjusting the output layer for 15 skin conditions.

Lower layers stay frozen while the classifier trains. AdamW with scheduling and early stopping improves generalization.
